If you press the volume control of a Storm, the volume goes up / down, if you hold the control down a song is skipped backforwards / forwards.

Using the APP this morning and the volumes controls, I noticed sometimes the pages of the rar file would skip 2/3 pages. I try to press rather than hold.

Overall, I can read an entire comic.

With a gentle touch this feature works fine.

I was able to open a 104mb CBR file with 247 pages. Apart from a slightly longer load time it worked as well as the 4mb file I had been using all day.

I'll look into getting the alx thing working. and I'll add a timer to the volume controls so that it doesn't skip pages if you hold it to long.

I cannot get the app installed...I see something about a .bat file in the earlier posts, but it isn't included in the zip file, and the alx doesn't work...please help!!

OK, I just put up a installer.zip file. just extract it to the directory with the cod file, and run load.bat

I can compare an Ipod touch with a BB Storm.

An issue I noticed is with resizing the page to fit. The ipod fit to page is good the bb storm less so.

Now what im suppose do when i open the app and I get an "Unable to display image" Also i am trying to click open from the menu and the app crash on me. I am currently on os 4.7.148.

Try a reboot.

I can open a file via the screen and via the menu.

what kind of crash do you get when you try the menu? Anything specific or does the app just turn off?
Also make sure you have your "Comics" directory in place before you start the app.

Yeah, would you believe that the blackberry doesn't have any image resizing apis? Nearest Neighbor is the only one they provide, and that looks like crap.

The algorithm I'm using still works really well, just not as nice as the iphone's and certainly not as nice as Windows Mobile's. I'm still on the look out for a better one though, so I'm sure the quality will improve over future versions.
